Kadamba Transport Corporation is a road transport undertaking which is owned and controlled by Government of Goa. Road transport in Goa has been dependent on privatized bus transport and Kadamba buses which are blue, red and white in color are totally an exceptional case. KTC has connected major cities and towns in Goa including rural areas. It operates its bus services from bus stations located in almost all the cities and towns of Goa.The ticket prices fixed by Kadamba Transport Corporation is reasonable and varies according to the class and size of the bus. The interstate bus tickets tickets need to be purchased from the ticket counter located at bus stations while the passengers who are looking t tour the city can buy bus tickets from the conductor in the bus itself.

KTC also operate non stop direct buses from one city to another in Goa such as Panjim to Vasco, Vasco to Ponda. The bus is fully packed during the pack hours and it has special rates for children, students and senior citizens.   • Panjim to Vasco and vice versa : Rs 30
  • Panjim to Mapusa and vice versa: Rs 35
  • Margao to Vasco and vice versa : Rs 20
  • Panjim to Ponda and viceversa: Rs.15


According to recent statistics, Kadamba Transport Corporation has 432 vehicles which operate 87,690 kilometres per day. The bus provides interstate as well as intercity services to the passengers but still unable to meet the demand of Public transport. More buses will be launched very soon and will be operated under KTC and provide effective services to the passengers.
