It has a fleet of 200 buses which provide regular services to the passengers in the major cities within the state as well as in the major cities of the adjoining states such as Gangtok, Guwahati, Twang, Bomdila, Seppa, Tezpur, Itanagar. ASRTC operates regular interstate buses which includes Volvo Air conditioned buses, deluxe, Semi Deluxe and Ordinary Buses.

Overnight journeys are also operated by ASRTC at scheduled time intervals. The bus fare varies according to the class of the coach and facilities provided to the passengers during transit. The bus tickets need to be booked 2-3 days in advance of scheduled journey for Volvo sleeper coach and Deluxe Coach. Bus tickets are available from the major bus stations in Itanagar, the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh.
